Unraveling the Heart of Type 1 Diabetes: on our U01 grant to study the immune-link between type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
We were awarded this project which aims to develop a data-driven approach to AI-based phenotyping of atherosclerosis. We aim to deep-phenotype plaques and discover novel biomarkers for patient stratification.
Together with the Miller lab we will execute an integrative single-cell meta-analysis for atherosclerosis funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
We collaborated with the Miller Lab to create PlaqView: a portal to plaque single-cell data.
