Anna is a visiting researcher from Hester den Ruijter’s group at Experimental Cardiology (University Medical Center Utrecht). Her research is dedicated to unraveling differences between men and women in atherosclerosis. Anna uses a combination of bioinformatics and lab-based approaches to study the X and Y chromosome, and how these may explain sex differential phenotypes in plaque.
